Well the best Jamaican food is in Jamaica. You haven't had great jerk chicken til you have been to the jerk pit on the side of the road in Montego Bay. They slowly smoke the chicken, pork or fish on top of steel grates. It is hot and spicy if you can't handle the heat then you should stop. There are small cook houses within markets as well that serve stew chicken, curry chicken, curry goat and steam fish that is to die for.
As for here in Canada there are a lot of places but nothing compares. Try making your own. If you like to cook ask around and change your recipes to suit you…thats what i do.

what is the Jamaican food guide pyramid? do they have one?
